I discovered tonight while driving through Virginia that the guy who invented the tourist slogan died tragically mid-sentence when his car hit a pot hole and flung him off a bridge. The rest of this state's slogan, "Virginia Is For Lovers" was meant to be "Virginia Is For Lovers Of Pot Holes."
