I put in the tape feeling like a 14 year old putting a porn video in while Mom and Dad were at work. A knot in the pit of my stomach. In the last 122 minutes tears have streamed down both cheeks five times. That was the most grotesque distortion of the facts that I have ever seen. The only thing that I could possibly find equally as offensive as a dedicated lover of the truth is to watch a film about why Jews deserved the Holocaust or why Africans deserved to be enslaved. Those that bought into this bile should be ashamed of themselves. Even more than Michael Moore should be ashamed for producing a movie intended to put hate into the hearts of its viewers through blatant distortions of the truth (known more commonly as lies). Michael Moore has the right to voice his "opinion/editorial" piece. He has the right to take people's emotions and toy with them, wrapping your heart around a warped story due to a hate of the necessity of war that I think all Americans share. However, you, America, have not only the right as an American, but the responsibility as a human being to show that you do not support lying about innocent parties to manipulate those that are too lazy to find the truth behind the lies. Which are you? One of those that are too lazy to find the truth -- or one of those that find the entertainment value in destroying the reputation of hard working servants of this country that defend your right to love the lies told about them? Those of you in the latter have not stood up to a liar and a hatemonger. You have become lovers of lies and haters of the truth. If you loved the truth, you would seek the truth. Shame on you, America. Shame on you. "Ignorance. That we deal with with every day people. 'Cause they don't know. People think they know, but you don't know." Truer word were never spoken. My heart cannot take anymore.
