Final Thoughts of Park City 2003 Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003 - 11:08 AM
My last story about my Park City trip, which ended yesterday, starts now. There were five guys in each of two cars. Five of us went to Wal*Mart while the other five headed to the house we stayed in. Upon reaching the house, five guys (including Daryl and Art) roamed the house to pick out rooms. Art entered the master bedroom. "Wow! This is where I'm staying." "Yeah," replied Daryl, "We'll take this room." We? We will take this room? The place we stayed at had one master bedroom with a King bed, 5 private bedrooms with a twin bed, one room with double ajoining bunk beds that would comfortably sleep either four kids or two adults, and three really comfortable couches plus two semi-comfortable chairs. These clowns chose to sleep in the same bed. And it's not as if one of them would have had to sleep on a couch otherwise, either. There were six bedrooms and only five guys in the house at this point. This became our reoccuring joke throughout the trip. The icing on the cake, though, was when on Monday morning, the two of them were found in bed watching My Fair Lady on TV.
