From the looks of things, hell is on a farm somewhere. I can't think of any other reason why the devil is commonly shown with a pitchfork.

Really, that would explain so much. Afterall, if Satan comes as an angel of light and all the folks living on farms are saying how evil the city is even though they've never been to the city and the devil carries around a pitch fork, then shouldn't we be putting two and two (and two) together? If he was commonly driving around in a taxi -- if that was his prop of choice -- then I'd understand thinking the city was The Devil... but he's not is he?

Also, why does his tail have a point? What exactly is he using it to point at?
