Cross Country Roadtrip Mayhem 2K4: Chicago, Day 1
Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004 - 2:00 AM

At about 2AM Tuesday morning we arrived at Mark's mom's fiancs (Peter) house. He's rich. You can tell this because when we got there, dinner was waiting for us on the stove. Mark's mom's a wonderful cook. So, how does this show he's rich? Well, waiting for us on the stove was spaghetti. But not spaghetti and meatballs... spaghetti and sirloin. Apparently leaner meat was needed than meatballs.

It was very tasty.

After eating, went swimming in Peter's pool. While swimming I noticed these flags above his pool. Mark says they're some sort of Buddhist prayer flags. All I could think of when I first saw them, though, is that this guy was really drunk one night and called out to his manservant, "Dude! Know what would be awesome?? If we put some FLAGS up there! Some FLAGS, dude! MAURICE! Order some flags!"

After some sleep we hung out a lot and went to see Garden State
